Advocacy Matters, LLC believes that you can’t separate the land from its history, and we strive to ensure the preservation and protection of our rich cultural heritage in addition to its diverse natural landscapes. Land conservation and historic preservation often originate from the same desire – to protect a sense of place, community spirit, and integrity of local land and heritage, for generations to come.

Although much of our work focuses on Conservation Law and Legacy Planning, we are deeply interested in and committed to projects allowing for the mutual preservation of both natural lands and important historic sites.

Scope of Work Includes

• Consulting on federal procedures and regulations

• Working with architects, consultants, developers, engineers, property owners and communities in understanding and applying preservation laws, regulations and design guidelines
